I Have Fallen in Love With Lauren George

Filed under: The Disciple Blogs — Disciple of INDYCAR @ 12:47 am

Lauren-The Next GenerationIt is not love in a creepy way; I am older than her father. I love what she is doing in the sport at such a young age. She represents the next generation of the sport. The thing I admire most is her spunk and enthusiasm. I wish everyone in her family displayed as much joy for life. Frankly, some of those in her generation borne of the same gene pool worry me.

One little blog on the Vision web site set off multi-page frenzies of those pro and con with some sort of opinion. Comments she made have increased my admiration of her: “It continues to amaze me how people spend so much of their own time talking about other people’s lives. So many times people tend to not only twist reality, but often just pull random ideas out of their ass and try and pass it off as truth.” What is not to love?

“I am still a little puzzled as to how a simple “For Sale” sign could trigger a debate on who is to blame for the current state of Open Wheel Racing in America.” I know why. A lot of people who contribute to Internet chatter are sociopaths with whom no interaction would be possible without the anonymity of the Internet.

Lauren Has Vision“So, to those of you who will always find something to complain about, as you go on ranting on TrackForum (or the forum of your choice), just remember you’re the one sitting at home on the computer while the people you are directing your commentary towards are busy in the arena.” Amen, Lauren.

If most of those blessed with her family connections who will inherit the family business remain or get as active as she is, we may have little to worry about during the second century of the sport.

Keep up the good work young lady.

  1. Are you done #@$*&ing in your $+#*@, stalker-boi?

  2. Definitely a cute girl, but the lack of class in her comment is a bit disappointing.

The whole Tony George thing is obvious. Those who love oval track racing have tended to support George. Those who prefer parade cars on road/street courses hate George because he, for a while at least, stopped the march to F1 light. That is why the divide persists with the fans even though the IRL/Cart split is over.

  3. When reading the primate mentality possessed words of the Troy Harrison post, you’ll realize where dealing with an angry and lost sort.

  4. Defender you are too much… You are so caught up in your own ego and self-created delusion that you can never see the double-standard in what you write.

It seems now days most of your blogs are complaining about all of those that complain about the IRL/Open Wheel.

Isn’t this ironic. What makes you any different than the complainers? You do the same thing, you’re just on a different side.

And don’t act like your above using a forum (because you have this blog) because from what I have read in several places…..you got banned from the forums in which you used to post.

But again according to your warped double standard, if you do it, it’s ok.

Do you know why most people read your blog Defender?

It’s sure as hell not because you post intelligent thought and/or insightful information. People read it for entertainment because you are first-rate jackass. Most readers are not laughing with you they are laughing at you.

You’re like the Rush Limbaugh of open wheel writers. You make some valid points in your blogs but mostly it’s just a bunch of paranoid delusion, hypocrisy, and childish insults.

Finally you’re not cool because you have a blog. Maybe a few years ago when you were one of the first and it was still a novel concept, you could claim some sort of notoriety from it……but now days two-bit fool can write a blog….kinda like…

    • I hope you pay more attention to what Defender writes than you apparently do to Limbaugh. Have you ever listened to Limbaugh? “mostly it’s just a bunch of paranoid delusion, hypocrisy, and childish insults.” Apparently not.

      • I would say the words paranoid delusion, hypocrisy, and childish insults fit Limbaugh quite well….and I’M A REPUBLICAN.

Just like the defender, Rush Limbaugh is a joke and only useful for entertainment purposes. Sure there is some intelligent commentary mixed in here and there but these days it’s mostly just saying outlandish stuff to get a rise out of people and garner attention.

Rush Limbaugh is very smart and a great business man. He’s good at what he does and has made a fortune with his act. The joke is of course on all of his stupid sheep fans that buy into his bullshit. He’s gotten rich off his followers. Is the republican party any better for it? Nope. In fact he’s helped to run the party into the ground and kill any chances of a republican winning the next election.

If you listen to Rush Limbaugh for entertainment and to get a good laugh not a problem. If you think Rush Limbaugh is a great human being and trust him to help shape your political views than you are an idiot.

It’s hard to take a guy seriously who talks about Republican values and morals and then gets busted for being addicted to and buying overseas online prescription narcotic painkillers. I used to work in the pharmaceutical field and the “prescription” drugs that Rush was addicted to are very similar to heroin…….yet millions of people take moral and political advice from a junkie.

  5. WOW!!! What I shock. Defender has wood for the offspring of his idol Tony George. You have sucked down GALLONS of her Daddy’s KOOL-Aid over the years…. why would we be surprised to learn you like the other George flavors???

1st rate jack-ass??? Yep, the Drugster Rush & Defender match that description!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Both need to change their diapers too
